Across the five-day practical workshop, you’ll develop advanced clinical skills through hands-on training, case-based scenarios, and tutor-supported practice.
Day 1:
You’ll revisit core assessment methods, including postural analysis, functional movement testing, and clinical communication. You’ll refine foundational massage techniques and begin applying them to real musculoskeletal conditions.
Day 2:
You’ll build on your client assessment and documentation skills, exploring treatment planning, ethical considerations, and adapting massage for pre-event, post-event, and maintenance care.
Day 3:
You’ll dive into upper limb conditions, developing your ability to assess, treat, and apply advanced massage techniques with confidence and clinical reasoning.
Day 4:
The focus shifts to the lower limbs and spine. You’ll work through common presentations and apply targeted techniques that align with individual needs and pathology.
Day 5:
Your final day includes scenario-based assessments where you’ll demonstrate your clinical decision-making and hands-on skills. You’ll also present your treatment rationale, take part in peer review, and reflect on your learning — preparing you for safe, confident practice in real-world settings.
