Fuelled by a passion for advancing the profession, Carl spent 11 impactful years as a Senior Lecturer at Northumbria University. There, he inspired and mentored hundreds of physiotherapists and healthcare professionals, forging a reputation for making evidence-based practice accessible, practical, and actionable. His expertise shines in areas such as rehabilitation, pain management, and acupuncture.

His research collaborations, published in leading journals, have explored, amongst other topics, the efficacy of acupuncture in pelvic health. His work continues to influence how these therapies are understood and integrated into modern healthcare, earning him recognition on national and international stages.
