About

Helen Marsden is a highly experienced physiotherapist with a distinguished career spanning nearly four decades. She qualified with a Diploma in Physiotherapy (MCSP) in 1985 from the Prince of Wales School of Physiotherapy, later earning a BSc (Hons) in Physiology from the University of Sheffield in 1994.

Helen has developed a specialist interest in acupuncture, beginning her training in 1995 under Dr. John Reynolds in Pain Relief Acupuncture, followed by further expertise in neurological applications with Val Hopwood in 1996. She has continued to expand her knowledge, attending multiple specialist courses including Women’s Health, Advanced Acupuncture Skills, and Scalp Acupuncture with Tianjun Wang.

Helen remains actively engaged in professional development, attending the AACP Annual Conference in 2021 and completing Tutor Training with Breeze Academy in 2023. Her holistic, evidence-based approach integrates Western physiotherapy with Eastern acupuncture principles to provide comprehensive, patient-centred care.
