About

Lynn Pearce has been a dedicated practitioner in the clinical field since qualifying as a physiotherapist in 1982. With a natural inclination toward outpatient care, Lynn began incorporating acupuncture into her practice in 1989. Intrigued by the results that extended beyond traditional Western medical explanations, she pursued a two-year Chinese Medicine-based course, earning a Licentiate in Acupuncture.

This deep dive into Chinese Medical Principles profoundly shaped Lynn’s approach to care, allowing her to integrate esoteric practices with ever-evolving Western medical insights. She sees acupuncture as a powerful tool for treating not just symptoms but the whole person.

Lynn’s dedication to education and advancing the field of acupuncture led her to obtain a Certificate in Medical Education and become a Senior Lecturer at Coventry University. Through her teaching, she emphasises a holistic approach to patient care, encouraging practitioners to combine symptom management with a deeper understanding of the individual.

Over the years, Lynn has delivered numerous foundation courses and CPD workshops on a variety of topics, including:

  • Trigger point therapy
  • Connections between the fascial system and meridians
  • Ear acupuncture (auricular acupuncture)
  • Cupping therapy and Gua Sha
  • Electroacupuncture
  • Treatments for headaches and migraines
  • Managing mood and emotional states

Lynn has also contributed articles to leading acupuncture journals and lectured for the English Institute of Sport, showcasing her extensive expertise and commitment to advancing the profession.

Outside of her clinical and teaching roles, Lynn has nurtured a love for horticulture, completing two qualifications with the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society). This passion allows her to find balance and inspiration in the great outdoors.
