As soon as you book, you’ll gain access to our online portal, where we kick things off with a quiz, as well as an introduction and a brief history of yoga.
Working your way through a carefully curated selection of online learning modules, you will learn the foundations of yoga, its poses and its various classes and sequences, all with a strong emphasis on intention, biomechanics, and rehabilitation.
You will learn how to assess, set goals and create sequences, incorporating the use of props, breath, stretches, muscle contractions and myofacial release to enhance the practice, covering standing, seated, supine and a host of other poses to add depth and variety to your teaching.
To round things off, we’lI go through some sports specific examples to enhance how we need to look at the body and use intentional movements and poses specific for our clients physical and mental goals.
Finally, there will be a yoga sequence plan to submit at the end, as well as quizzes throughout to reassure you that you’re on track.
