About

Briea Denney is a BSc Sports Rehabilitator with over a decade of experience in the sports massage industry. She spent 10 years building her own clinic before branching into teaching in 2024, where she now shares her knowledge and passion with the next generation of therapists.

Briea is a full-time Course Lecturer at Breeze Academy, specialising in Sports Massage and Acupuncture, delivering training across both Level 3 and Level 4 Sports Massage qualifications. She keeps her hands-on skills up to date by treating patients in her own clinic a couple of times a month, ensuring her teaching is grounded in real-world clinical experience. Briea first trained in acupuncture with Breeze back in 2018, adding another dimension to her musculoskeletal rehabilitation work.

Her favourite part of the job? Teaching — and more specifically, passing on the skills and knowledge needed to help people recover, perform at their best, and reduce the risk of injury. This passion is rooted in her own athletic background: Briea competed for GB in Modern Pentathlon and later took up triathlon for fun and fitness, only to accidentally qualify for the European GB Championships for Olympic distance triathlon. She has now completed a full Ironman, making her very much our resident Ironwoman.

When she’s not teaching, treating, or training, Briea lives by the motto: “Work hard, play hard”, with holidays as her ultimate reward. Her philosophy is simple: “Your mind is your only limit.” Oh, and she claims the real reason she exercises is so she can eat more. Balance, after all, is everything.
