About

Shara Crunden is a skilled physiotherapist with a career spanning over two decades. She graduated from Johannesburg Medical School in 2003, where her passion for Yoga and Pilates began. Her journey took her to Bermuda, where attending a course by Dr Neil Pearson inspired her to explore the integration of yoga, breathing, and meditation into the management of chronic pain.

Building on her advanced therapeutic Pilates training, Shara discovered the transformative potential of yoga for both physical and mental well-being. She has since cultivated a unique approach to health and wellness, blending her expertise in physiotherapy with her love for movement and mindfulness practices.

In addition to her physiotherapy qualifications, Shara holds a Level 2 Ayurveda Practitioner certification and a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She operates a private physiotherapy practice at the Bermuda Pain Relief Centre and Ayurveda Clinic, where she combines these disciplines to offer holistic care. Shara also shares her passion for yoga by teaching private and group classes through Bad Ass Yoga, helping individuals achieve their physical and mental health goals.

Shara’s work reflects her commitment to empowering clients to embrace movement, mindfulness, and holistic health as integral parts of their well-being journey.
