Prior to the face-to-face component of the course, you will be required to complete a series of safety lessons on our online platform, covering contraindications, precautions and adverse events, as well as revisiting needle insertion fundamentals and pain physiology. A critical discussion will be presented on the theoretical underpinnings of the triggerpoint concept, as well as the evidence base to date.

Having undertaken online learning, the face-to-face component will be a fully practical workshop covering a wide range of needling skills across the trunk, pelvis, upper and lower limbs.

Following the face-to-face session, further online learning is provided in the form of case studies and multi choice quizzes to help consolidate your learning, making sure you feel confident to apply the learning activities immediately.
